The legal basis for the collection of this data is Art. 6(1) sentence1 (f) GDPR (legitimate interest). Our legitimate interest is the communication of our company with you at your request. The personal data which you have sent to us via e-mail will be erased after the matter in question has been fully resolved and providing there is no other legal basis for the processing.

If you subscribe to our newsletter using the newsletter registration form on our website, we may contact you using the personal data you provide there. In this case, we process the data you enter in the newsletter registration form. It is only necessary to provide us with your e-mail address to receive the newsletter.
4.2 Purposes of the data processing, legal basis and duration of storage
The processing of personal data solely serves the purpose of providing and distributing our newsletter. The legal basis for the collection of this data is Art. 6(1) sentence1 (a) GDPR (consent). You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link contained in each e-mail. The aforementioned personal data will be erased after you withdraw your consent.

For the provision of our website, we use a service provider which gains access to your IP address and potentially other browser data in the course of the provision of its services.
For the provision and distribution of our newsletter, we use a service provider in Germany who receives access to your personal data that you provide to us in the context of your newsletter subscription. You are not legally or contractually obliged to provide us with your personal data for the above-mentioned processing purposes. Without your personal data we are not able to provide you with our website and its functions or our newsletter.

If you object to the usage of your data for the purposes of direct marketing, we will no longer process the personal data relating to you for these purposes (Art. 21(2) GDPR).
6.3 Notice of the right to complain to a supervisory authority
You have the right to complain to the competent supervisory authority at any time if you are of the view that a processing operation undertaken by us breaches data protection law.
You are neither legally nor contractually obliged to provide us with your personal data for the above-mentioned processing purposes. However, without your personal data, we will not be able to provide you with our website and its functions, or our newsletter.
